Apple introduced AirPods Pro, an improved AirPods version featuring active noise cancellation, sweat and water resistance, and in-ear design. The price of AirPods Pro in India is Rs. 24,900 (US$ 249) and will be available from October 30 in the U.S. Apple says that AirPods Pro will arrive “soon” in India
AirPods Pro ships with a wireless charging case and provides four and a half hours of listening time on a single charge allowed with active noise cancellation and up to 24 hours of listening time using additional charges from the case.
Apple says the AirPods Pro has an H1 chip, “with 10 audio cores and power all from sound to Siri.” The AirPods Pro headline feature has to be active noise cancellation, which means that this pair of headphones can minimize ambient noise and enable you to listen to audio even in noisy environments at lower volumes. Apple says that for active noise cancellation, AirPods Pro uses “two microphones in combination with advanced software to adapt continuously to each individual ear and headphone fit.”
One of these two microphones faces outside and minimizes external sources of background noise. The second one faces the ear and through any residual noise the microphone picks up. AirPods Pro also has Adaptive EQ which, according to Apple, “adjusts the music’s low and mid-frequencies to the shape of an individual’s ear — resulting in a rich, immersive listening experience.”
The cancelation of the noise can be disabled using the transparency feature of AirPods Pro. It helps people to listen to music while listening to the sounds of history. Transparency mode eliminates noise cancelation so that if you need to, you can hear traffic and other background noises.
According to Apple, AirPods Pro features a vent system to equalize pressure and reduce discomfort caused by long-term wearing of some in-ear headphones. The AirPods Pro stem also has a new force sensor that allows you to switch between active noise cancellation and transparency modes. This also makes it easier to play, pause, or skip songs, and respond to or end phone calls, according to Apple.
One final new feature is called the Ear Tip Fit Test for the AirPods Pro. Apple says it can tell if the ear tip is the right size and fits well after putting AirPods Pro in each ear, its algorithms and microphones in each AirPod. It may also suggest that you just have to adjust the tips for a better seal.
Featuring three sizes of silicone ear tips, AirPods Pro can arrive, which is pretty standard with most headphones in-ear.
