Jio Fiber Preview Offer Launched with New Schemes

Jio Fiber Preview Offer launched by Reliance Jio as an introductory scheme for early adopters to enjoy broadband high-speed service is no longer available to new users. The Preview Offer was released ahead of Jio Fiber broadband service’s commercial debut and was available through either Rs. 4,500 or Rs. 2,500 refundable security deposit, depending on the router type.

Jio announced back in September that all existing subscribers will be migrated to paid plans under the Preview Offer. However, many of those subscribers have yet to migrate to the telco. Having said that, the Preview Offer is no longer available to new Jio Fiber users.

Reliance Jio has the Rs. 699 Bronze plan as the least investment choice to use the high-speed broadband service for the existing Jio Fiber users. This is contrary to the free Preview Offer, which was first noticed back in July 2017 and continued even after the commercial launch of the Jio Fiber service in September this year, where consumers could enjoy Internet connectivity by paying a one-time security deposit as low as Rs. 2,500.

New Jio Fiber Customers Cannot Avail the Preview Offer

New Jio Fiber customers do not have the option to take advantage of the Preview Offer as stated by Telecom Talk. This was quite clear as Jio revealed with the commercial launch of Jio Fiber in India the gradual phase-out of his initial push. Until now, however, the company has given both existing and new customers the Preview Deal.

For many who are already on the Preview Offer as they are still to be migrated to paid plans, the change has not brought updates, Gadgets 360 confirmed by talking to some clients.

Jio supported all customers under the Preview Offer 100Mbps speeds along with a Fair Use Policy (FUP) limit of 1.1 TB. Under the Rs. 699 Bronze package, these benefits are not eligible.

The bouquet of paid plans also includes Silver plan Rs. 849, Gold plan Rs. 1,299, Diamond plan Rs. 2,499, Platinum plan Rs. 3,999, and Titanium plan Rs. 8,499. Reliance Jio also provides six-month plans with an additional month and an additional 50 percent information. Likewise, there is an option for a three-month plan with an additional 25 percent data.

Customers who opt for Platinum and Titanium plans are eligible for the VR platform, Jio First-Day First-Show movies, and unique sports content. That said, these paid plans still have to have a major impact on Indian customers.
